Burn some energy with this fascinating approx. 10 km trail that reaches 575 m of altitude. Your guide will pick you up on a vehicle that will take you along several factories on the area. After crossing the Duaba river on foot (approximately 1 m deep), you will start to ascend to get to the protected area of Quivijan – Duaba – Yunque. First, you will see some cocoa plantations, an important crop for local economy. Then, you will notice a different type of vegetation and on a third stage, you`ll spot the tropical rain forest until you reach the top of the mountain, a natural lookout that will show you all the beauty of this landscape decorated by mountains and rivers. Admire the great diversity of flora and fauna including fruit trees, ferns, birds, reptiles, mollusks and the attractive Polymitas. On the way back, while descending, there will be some time to take a swim in the river.

Depart from the city of Baracoa towards Yumurí accompanied by a specialized guide. There will be stops at beautiful spots for taking pictures. Upon arrival to the Yumurí River Canyon, you’ll enjoy a boat ride with time for more photos and swimming in the river. Lunch at the site is included. Appreciate the beautiful sights from the viewpoint of Punta de Silencio and continue to Maisí. Stop at the Cuesta de los Chivos viewpoint to take a look at a photovoltaic power station. You will enjoy a welcome cocktail when you arrive at Villa Punta de Maisí, as well as a panoramic tour of the place including seeing diverse species of melocactus. Visit to the Punta de Maisí Lighthouse, a maritime reference for sailors and fishermen since its construction in 1862.
