Trek across the Zapata Peninsula’s birdwatching spots to observe a large amount of species of birds including the zunzuncitos (Cuban bee hummingbird), a rare type of bandicoot, water hen and various species of parrots and herons. There are plenty of sites for bird watching in the area such the migratory bird reserve of Las Salinas, Bermejas, Soplillar, Los Hondones, Santo Tomas and Hatiguanico.

Walk through a forest which main attraction is the karst and its associated features, accompanied by a specialised guide from the National Park that will show you a great amount of endemic species on this area such as the hummingbird and the Cuban Trogon. A stop will be made on a beautiful cenote where clients will be able to swim with turtles. Note that there may be other clients doing the tour at the same time.
